Mancina to direct Rowe's PR

MCCLEAN, Va. — MCCLEAN, Va. —Saverio Mancina has joined upholstery manufacturer Rowe Furniture in the new position of director of public relations.
He will spearhead all media relations strategies promoting the company's brands, and oversee special events at trade shows and in local markets to support Rowe's retailers.
Mancina reports to Mark Moseley, vice president of marketing.
He has more than 15 years experience in public relations, both with agencies and in house. He most recently was senior account manager at Kortenhaus Communications in Boston, where he was responsible for the firm's home furnishings and design client roster. Prior to that, he was an account supervisor in the public relations division of Mullen Advertising in Wenham, Mass. He has also worked as director of public relations for Boston Ballet.
"The newly created position of director of public relations allows Rowe to maintain a stronger dialogue with magazine and newspaper editors and TV producers who report on the home furnishings industry," said Stefanie Lucas, Rowe's senior vice president.
"Saverio brings an extensive background in media relations and special event planning as well as a firm understanding of retail."
