HIGH POINT — HIGH POINT — Kerry Van, a sales associate at Leather Discounters in San Marcos, Calif., won the grand prize in the second annual retail sales contest sponsored by Natuzzi Americas.
Van won a trip to Italy and a three-piece furniture group for selling the most pieces of Natuzzi furniture during the three-month contest, which ran from September to November. Natuzzi did not disclose how much he sold.
Other prizes were awarded in drawings, with each seat sold giving an associate or sales manager one entry in the drawing.
Among sales managers, Jennifer Rosenberg of Kirschman's, Metairie, La., also won a trip to Italy and a three-piece seating group.
In addition, another 48 sales associates — two per region — won trips. Joe Mussallem, strategic product manager for Natuzzi Americas, oversaw the drawings.
Three separate groups of winners will visit Italy in May and June. The four-day trips include tours of the Natuzzi facility, its tannery and the cities of Venice and Rome.
