ADL dinner tickets still available

NEW YORK — NEW YORK— Seats are still available for the Anti-Defamation League's dinner here this month to honor industry leaders Judy George and Farooq Kathwari.
George, founder and CEO of Norwood, Mass.-based retailer Domain Furniture, will receive this year's American Heritage Award from the ADL's National Interior Furnishings & Design Division.
Kathwari, chairman, president and CEO of Danbury, Conn.-based manufacturer-retailer Ethan Allen, will receive the Humanitarian Award.
Both will be honored for their long commitment to the humanitarian goals of civil rights and justice. The dinner is set for May 19 at the Grand Hyatt New York.
Space also is still available in the commemorative book honoring the award winners.
Norman Waxman of Schnadig is the industry chairman for the event, Neil Goldberg of Raymour & Flanigan, Liverpool, N.Y., is the dinner chairman, and Fred Berk of Robb & Stucky, Fort Myers, Fla., and Fred Friedman of Carl's, Coconut Creek, Fla., are vice chairmen.
