Broyhill installs four galleries

LENOIR, N.C. — LENOIR, N.C. — Full-line manufacturer Broyhill Furniture has installed Showcase Galleries in stores in Pennsylvania, California and Iowa.
Lastick Furniture in Pottstown, Pa., has opened a 7,500-square-foot Broyhill Showcase Gallery in its downtown location. Founded in 1973, Lastick's is family owned and operated by Jerry Lastick and Marsha Lastick Petnick. The gallery was installed in a new addition to the store which now totals 40,000 square feet.
Woods Furniture in Turlock, Calif., also has installed a 7,500-square-foot Broyhill Showcase Gallery. Woods is a family-owned operation and was founded in 1950 by Thurman and Elsa Woods. In 1959, son and daughter-in-law Darryl and Gloria Woods joined the business, and in 1984 their sons, David and Randy, began working at the store and now have taken over day-to-day responsibilities. The Broyhill gallery is located in one of the company's three 10,000-square-foot Turlock stores.
Valley Furniture in Rohnert Park, Calif., has opened a 7,500-square-foot Broyhill Showcase Gallery. Valley's store is 70,000 square feet and is owned and operated by Larry Phan.
Karl's Furniture, TV, Audio and Appliance in Sioux City, Iowa, has installed a 7,500-square-foot Broyhill Showcase Gallery in its newly constructed 23,500-square-foot store. Elmer and Kay Karl launched the business in 1956 with a store in Gregory, S.D. They now have a total of 16 stores.
