Storis names DeMatteo national sales manager

PARSIPPANY, N.J. — PARSIPPANY, N.J. — Lou DeMatteo has been named national sales manager for Storis Management Systems, a new position created after the retirement of Ira Bakst, executive vice president and co-founder of the retail software provider.
DeMatteo, who reports to Donald J. Surdoval, president and CEO, has more than 25 years of sales and marketing experience dedicated to application software solutions. Before joining Storis, he spent eight years as regional manager of ROI Systems, a provider of manufacturing and distribution software.
"Lou's in-depth knowledge of technology and business applications in conjunction with his experience in delivering solutions to help clients grow their business provide him with the winning combination to succeed as our national sales manager," said Surdoval. "His drive and charisma is a great asset to the Storis sales professionals."
