La-Z-Boy inducts top reps into Summit Club

High Point — High Point— La-Z-Boy has honored its top-selling sales representatives, inducting them into the upholstery manufacturer's Summit Club.
Charlie Schillaci, sales representative for the San Diego area, and his sales associate, Longie Cruz, were given the La-Z-Boy President's Award for 2003, presented annually to the year's highest-performing sales rep or team.
"All of our Summit Club inductees are at the top of their game, are smart and hard-working, and represent the best in this industry," said Ken Salm, vice president of sales for La-Z-Boy, who presented the award. "Each winner possesses professionalism and personal integrity and is extremely loyal to this company. And, of course, each had outstanding sales performance last year."
Schillaci has been a sales representative with the company since 1988, Cruz since 1995.
Other sales representatives and associates inducted into the 2003 Summit Club were Jim Graham, sales rep, and David Jones, sales associate, who cover western Washington, both first-time winners; Ron Bumgarner, sales rep for northern Florida, a five-time winner; Steve Matlock, sales representative, and Mike Parkinson, sales associate, who handle Arizona and southern Nevada. Matlock is an eight-time winner and Parkinson a five-time winner.
Graham also was honored as Rookie of the Year for outstanding first-year performance.
