Qubein to speak at April market prayer breakfast

High Point — High Point— The 10th annual Furniture Fellowship Prayer Breakfast is set for Wednesday, April 21, and reservations must be made by March 24.
This year's guest speaker is High Point's Nido Qubein, a business leader, author and philanthropist who addresses professional groups worldwide each year. He is a recipient of Toastmasters International's Golden Gavel Medal, honoring him as one of the top speakers in the world.
The breakfast will be take place from 7 to 8 a.m. in the 11th floor ballroom of the Green Wing of the International Home Furnishings Center.
Tickets are $15, with half tables available for $75 and full tables for $150. General sponsorships are also available with a contribution of $100 or more in addition to the cost of tickets purchased.
Any funds collected that exceed costs are donated to charity. This year's proceeds will go to Habitat for Humanity.
The organization also sponsors a scholarship at High Point University for a home furnishings student. Past recipients of Prayer Breakfast funds include the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, the Anti-Defamation League, the City of Hope and the Lighthouse Project.
Reservations may be made by sending a check payable to Furniture Fellowship to Ann Delehanty, Legacy Classic Furniture, 6530 Judge Adams Road, Whitsett, N.C. 37377. If you are purchasing more than one ticket, please list the names of everyone planning to attend the breakfast.
The regular Sunday morning Worship Service will be held during market at 7 a.m. April 25 in the High Point Theater. No reservation is necessary and space is plentiful.
