New Web site created by IFSA

High Point — High Point— After months of planning, the International Furniture Suppliers Assn. has launched its new Web site in hopes of better communicating with members and potential members.
The site at www.ifsa-info.com debuted in early February and mirrors much of the information on the old site for the International Wholesale Furniture Assn., the group's previous name. The group changed to IFSA last year in hopes of broadening membership to suppliers of finished product, including importers and domestic and overseas manufacturers.
The new site includes information about the group's leadership, history, member costs and benefits. It also features a membership directory, an association newsletter and the quarterly IFSA Furniture Report.
IFSA Executive Director Phyllis Tuttle said she is pleased with the site, which was created by Zenith Design Group of Atlanta, which also oversaw the IWFA site.
She said there recently has been some confusion about who the IFSA represents. The term "suppliers," she said, represents the suppliers of finished goods, not component parts. She hopes the new Web site further clarifies that position.
"I think the site is well laid out and very easy to negotiate," she said. "It gives a great overview of our association, and it lists our members so people can gauge the outstanding companies that are affiliated with us."
She said the group plans to keep the IWFA Web site at www.iwfa.net up for a while longer until people become accustomed to the new site.
