Stanton appoints Yow president

TUALATIN, Ore — TUALATIN, Ore. — Stanton International, a manufacturer of upholstered furniture and occasional tables, has named Tom Yow as president, a new position.
"The addition of this position is necessary due to our record growth and also coincides with the completion of our 10th year as a company," said Michael Raine, chief executive officer. "Since we have experienced substantial growth in the past, it is now necessary to add additional systems and leadership to our current management team."
Yow is one of six equity owners of Stanton and has served on its board for the past two years.
Most recently, he was president of manufacturer Creations Mfg. He started his career in the furniture business in upholstery manufacturing at Henredon, and also has been vice president of sales for Broyhill Furniture Inds., president of U.S. Furniture Inds. and vice president and general manager of Hammary Furniture.
"Stanton's success is due to their ability to establish and execute their plans based on their long-term strategic goals. I intend to bring my experience to continue this proven method," Yow said.
The company has plants in Tualatin, Ore., Stockton, Calif., and Phoenix.
