Corrections & Amplifications

By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, January 19, 2004

A story on page 23 of the Dec. 22 issue gave incorrect information about the manufacture of new product from Invista. Invista owns the Kinston, N.C. polyester filament plant, and Unifi owns the plant in Yadkinville, N.C. The two companies are cooperatively running the facilities and Americas Filament, a unit of Invista, manages the production planning and scheduling of both facilities. Dacron Vibrance fiber is produced in the Yadkinville facility.

A story on page 2 of the Jan. 12 edition reporting on Randy Austin and Bob Shaak leaving Hickory White misstated the length of Shaak's tenure and his title at Thomasville. He spent five years at Thomasville, leaving as vice president of sales.
