Michael Thomas taps Dunn

HIGH POINT — Retail veteran Sue Dunn has been named vice president of merchandising at high-end upholstery manufacturer Michael Thomas.
She succeeds Katrina Patton, who has joined Progressive.
Dunn started her career in sales and design for retailers Gabberts and Sanger-Harris in Dallas, then started her own store in Falls Church, Va., Sofas by Design, which she later liquidated.
She has served on Michael Thomas' design committee since 1992.
