Spring Haven issue available soon

DALLAS — The spring issue of Haven, the Home Furnishings Council's consumer lifestyle magazine, will be available to home furnishings retailers in mid-January.

"Because Haven is produced every quarter, retailers have a reason to invite their customers to come by at the arrival of each new magazine," said Mary Frye, Haven's executive publisher and president of the Home Furnishings International Assn., which is managing the work of the Home Furnishings Council. The spring issue is the second to be published since the HFIA revived the magazine last year.
Retailers can use articles or pictures from Haven in a display in their stores, she suggested.
"Magazine articles give ideas a sense of credibility. By connecting the articles to their store, Haven-distributing stores become a credible source of ideas," Frye said.
