Hickory Hill
VALDESE , N.C. —Patton Kincaid has received the Sales Representative of the Year Award from Hickory Hill Furniture Co.
He has been a rep with the manufacturer for eight years, covering the Florida Panhandle, Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi and Arkansas. In Arkansas, he more than tripled the sales volume there in his first year.
In addition, Hickory Hill has named Lorna Davis Rookie of the Year. She has been with the company for several years, and was recently named sales rep for Oklahoma and Kansas. She added several prominent dealers and grew volume by more than 30% in her first year in the territory.
Vaughan-Bassett
GALAX, Va. — Case goods maker Vaughan-Bassett has presented its Sales Representative of the Year awards to Greg Kirk, West Virginia, and Barry Abrams, Hope Antonoff and Jere Neff of Mid-Atlantic Furniture Sales.
Vaughan-Bassett's first Lifetime Achievement Award went to Jerome J. "Jere" Neff in recognition of his service to the industry.

MARTINSVILLE, Va. — Hooker Furniture has appointed Parker Turpin and Paul Huckfeldt to new financial posts.
Turpin, previously audit senior manager with Deloitte & Touche, is manager of financial reporting and planning, responsible for the manufacturer's internal and external financial reporting. He reports to Gary Armbrister, chief accounting officer.
Huckfeldt is internal auditor, responsible for testing of internal controls as well as operational audits of the company's divisions and subsidiaries. He reports to the chairman of the audit committee of Hooker's board. He most recently was chief financial officer and controller of Active Wear.
