WELLINGTON, Fla. — WELLINGTON, Fla. — The fourth of eight planned Thomasville Home Furnishings stores in South Florida opened here in Palm Beach County on May 1, and the fifth is set to open in June in West Boca Raton.
The stores are owned and operated by Hendricks Furniture Group, a Top 100 store chain based in North Carolina.
Hendricks also operates Thomasville stores in Fort Lauderdale, Jensen Beach and Miami, and other stores are scheduled to open in Florida in West Palm Beach, East Boca Raton and Destin by the end of the year.
"We're pleased with our customers' responses to our first three stores in South Florida," said President Larry Hendricks.
Tom Tilley, CEO of Thomasville Furniture, said, "South Florida is a vibrant and vital market for us, and we are delighted with the Hendricks Furniture Group's growth in opening new stores."
The West Boca Raton store will be the 150th Thomasville Home Furnishings store nationwide.
The Wellington and West Boca stores will present all of Thomasville's major collections, including Bogart and Hemingway. Dawn Jamison is general manager for both of the stores.
