Terra do Brazil taps Bassil as sales director

Miami — Fadi Bassil has been named national sales director for Terra do Brazil, an importer of furniture, handcrafts and accessories from Brazil.
He previously was Florida and Latin American regional sales manager for contract seating maker Shelby Williams. At Terra do Brazil, Bassil will assemble and coordinate a sales team for the United States and Canada.
"Fadi provides us with the background, contacts and leadership to help us meet our goal of increasing Brazilian furniture exports from $150 million to $600 million by the end of 2004," said Robson Oliveira, president of Terra do Brazil.
Bassil has experience in banking and international sales and is fluent in five languages.
