828 offers rug underlayment

Greenville, S.C. — 828 International Trading has launched a line of rug underlayment products, made to complement the company's hand-made and power-loomed rugs. The move is in keeping with 828's efforts to be a one-source supplier.
Included in the line are four types of padding: a better and best rug gripper, a felt underlayment and a pad designed for rugs over carpet. Each type comes in sizes ranging from 2 by 4 to 12 by 18. A display is designed for simple, cash-and-carry access.
"Our customers were asking for a quality line of padding products bundled in an easy-to-sell program," said Len Andolino, vice president of sales and marketing. "We responded with exceptional underlayments that can be ordered individually or purchased with a display. The display is free with a $500 padding order."
