Leda honors top sales reps

High Point — Case goods manufacturer Leda Furniture recognized two sales representatives with its top awards at the April market here.
Arlene Duryea, who reps Leda in Washington and Oregon and operates a designer showroom in the Seattle Design Center, received the Steve Karp Spirit Award. Named for the late Steve Karp, a rep noted for his "we can do anything" attitude, the honor salutes Duryea for her work with clients and Leda staff.
Leo Rothman, who represents the company in Quebec and Canada's Maritime provinces, was named Leda's Sales Professional of the Year.
"Leo has developed close-knit ties with his retail accounts, and his willingness to always go to bat for them has earned him the utmost respect," the company said in announcing the award, which recognizes sales goals achievement to ensure Leda's development, growth and prosperity.
