Scottsdale, Ariz. — Sean Hanish has been named president of LBC Advertising.
He formerly was senior vice president, executive creative director for the agency, and was responsible for creating and directing award-winning commercials for Robb & Stucky, Karastan and American Leather.
Hanish joined LBC as an assistant grip while in high school and worked his way up through the ranks. He has been responsible for 25 of the firm's National Telly Awards, the Chicago International Film Festival Award, ADDY Awards, the Worldfest Houston Award, the Summit Award and 12 National Communicator Awards.
Ideal Office Interiors
Culver City, Calif. — Steven Kane has been made a full partner in Ideal Office Interiors, taking the title of chief operating officer. Ron Schultz will remain president.
Gil Hernandez has been named vice president of sales and Tim Bauer has been named sales associate at the company.

Brooks Furniture
Tazewell, Tenn. — Steve Widner has been named national sales manager at Brooks Furniture, a maker and importer of glider rockers, bedroom and dining room furniture.
He previously worked for 21 years at bedroom manufacturer Oakwood/Heritage House Furniture. Widner headed several departments before being named sales manager in 1987.
Couristan
Fort Lee, N.J. — Steve Boltwood has been named territory manager for Couristan.
He will sell the Couristan rug and broadloom line in upstate New York, central and western Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
He reports to Steve Codella, Eastern regional sales manager.
Boltwood served for over 20 years with Masland Carpet. Earlier, he was with Horizon Inds.

Palmer Transport
Chino, Calif. — Mark Gilbreth has been named to the newly created position of chief financial officer at industry transportation supplier Palmer Transport Corp., which has terminals here and in Archdale, N.C.
Gilbreth was with investment bank CIBC World Markets.
Trespa North America
San Diego — Larry R. Potvin has been named Western regional manager for supplier Trespa North America, a maker of high-pressure laminate panels.
Potvin has more than 16 years experience as a national and regional sales manager with companies such as ITW, Ramset, Red Head and Checkpoint Professional Laser Tools.

Chicago — Richard T. Norfolk has been named property manager of The Merchandise Mart here, responsible for upkeep and maintenance, and overseeing all the operations staffs. He also is responsible for ensuring tenant satisfaction and making sure that tenant businesses operate efficiently.
Norfolk was vice president of Merchandise Mart Properties Inc.'s properties in High Point, and reports to Myron Maurer, generation manager and vice president of operations and construction.
Norfolk joined MMPI in 1997 as vice president of special projects in the trade show division and oversaw leasing efforts for a trade show focusing on the healthcare industries. Before joining MMPI, he was president of the Pacific Design Center in Los Angeles.
