Las Vegas — The rent-to-rent industry's "big three" — top executives at Cort Furniture Rental, Brook Furniture Rental and Aaron Rents — will face their peers at the International Furniture Rental Assn.'s annual conference here in May.
The three executives, Paul Arnold of Cort, Robert Crawford of Brook and Charlie Loudermilk of Aaron, will report on the industry's growth outlook and answer questions in a panel discussion.
IFRA members will gather May 6–8 at the Bellagio Hotel here. The conference will open Tuesday evening, May 6, with an executive committee dinner and meeting and continue with a board meeting the next morning.
The full session opens May 7 with reports on legislation facing the industry, including an update on California's proposed furniture flammability standards, and a session on the benefits and drawbacks of operating a clearance center.
Thursday's program will include presentations on the extended stay market and the multi-family housing industry, as well as the "big three" report and an awards banquet.
