Dalton, Ga. — Rug manufacturer Oriental Weavers of America has assigned Steve Stultz the duties that were held by Paul D'huyvetter, senior vice president and general manager, who died in November.
Stultz, previously vice president of sales and marketing, now is responsible for OWA sales, marketing, customer service, manufacturing and distribution. He will report to Ahmed Salama, senior vice president of the Sphinx division of Oriental Weavers.
Stultz has been with OWA for three years. Previously, he spent 14 years with Beaulieu Rugs, where his last title was senior vice president of sales.
Stultz also has been named to the board of directors for both OWA and Sphinx by Oriental Weavers. OWA is the U.S. manufacturing arm of Egypt-based Oriental Weavers. Sphinx by Oriental Weavers imports rugs into the United States.
