Hypnos brings royal line to U.S.

Paterson, N.J. — Vi-Spring isn't the only luxury British bedding line making waves in the United States.
Hypnos, another British bedding brand, is retailing in the United States after its launch at the International Home Furnishings Market last fall. The Hypnos line, which has a solid pedigree of expert craftsmanship in the United Kingdom, is produced in the United States under a licensing arrangement with Jamison Bedding. The Hypnos line carries the Royal Warrants of the Queen of England and the late Queen Mother. Queen Elizabeth sleeps on Hypnos.
That illustrious heritage prompted Greenbaum Interiors here to add the Hypnos line to its flagship showroom.
"We are excited to be the first in this area to offer these incredible beds," said Susan Greenbaum Gross, president, last month. "Throughout our 50-year history we have succeeded in bringing the finest home furnishings in the world to our customers and the Royal Comfort line by Hypnos continues that tradition."
The beds are available in three styles at Greenbaum Interiors, with retails ranging from $3,000 to $9,900.
The line got off to a fast start. One consumer tried out the bedding and wanted it right then. That first sale was for almost $10,000.
