Curnutt heads international sales at Hickory Springs

Hickory, N.C. — Hickory Springs Manufacturing Co. has promoted J. P. Curnutt to international sales director.
Curnutt began his career with Hickory Springs in 1970 at the company's Fort Smith, Ark., sales office, and later worked at the company's Hattiesburg, Miss., location. He left Hickory Springs in 1982 to start his own business, then rejoined the company in 1999 as regional sales manager in Portland, Ore.
Curnutt has moved to the Hickory area and is working out of Hickory Springs' Regional Sales Office.
Hickory Springs, a 59-year-old family-owned business, is a major supplier of metal and polyurethane components to the furniture and bedding industries.
