Archbold, Ohio — Sauder Woodworking has promoted Paul Manley to the newly created position of senior vice president of operations at its Progressive Furniture subsidiary.
Manley, who reports to Progressive Chairman Pete Pilliod, joined Sauder in 1999 and has been director of inter-company synergies for Sauder and Progressive since mid-2001, when ready-to-assemble furniture maker Sauder acquired the case goods producer and importer.
Manley will oversee most domestic and international operations of Progressive. He also will manage import and supply chain logistics for Progressive's international business, making sure that sources meet the company's product and parts specifications. He continues to serve on Progressive's board of directors.
"Paul is a highly proactive leader and someone who works well within both the Sauder and Progressive organizations," said Kevin Sauder, president and chief executive officer of Sauder.
