New Hamburg, Ontario — Furniture designer and importer Magnussen Home has built a new office building here for its corporate headquarters, and is leasing space to other companies as well.
Located on the former site of the company's manufacturing operations, the facility is going up in three stages, with the first phase now complete.
The second phase, scheduled to begin in September, will add space to Magnussen Home's offices and other businesses. Phase three will feature a bistro-style restaurant.
"We are delighted to support our associates with a highly dynamic work environment that reflects a healthy balance of personal life and work," said company Chairman Richard Magnussen.
The company's 70 employees here occupy about 25% of the Magnussen Home Professional Building.
Among the building's tenants are a fitness center and a massage therapy clinic.
