Klaussner toasts Chianti debut

At The Market — Klaussner Furniture toasted the debut of its Chianti Classic Collection here with a Tuscan cooking school and traditional dinner hosted by a Tuscan chef and vintner.
Guido Stucchi, family member and owner of the Badia a Coltibuono winery in Tuscany, traveled to Asheboro to lead the event. His family has owned the winery since 1846, and now operates a bed and breakfast and cooking school in addition to producing wines, olive oils and vinegars.
The Chianti Classic furniture line is the latest extension in Klaussner's World Vineyards licensed line.
The new group includes about 35 SKUs of dining room, bedroom and entertainment furniture, inspired by the historic Badia abbey, as well as architectural elements and antique doors found in Florence and surrounding Tuscany.
Case goods designs include moldings and columns framing clipped corner panels faced with cathedral walnut veneer and mounted on cherry veneered backing panels.
Klaussner also has developed an upholstery line to complement the case goods.
Throughout market, Klaussner is hosting olive oil and wine tastings from the Badia a Coltibuono vineyard.
