Las Vegas — The World Market Center here has promoted Dana Andrew, Babs Blair, Tim Branscome and Michelle Monteferrante to vice president positions.
All had been directors, and all will continue in their current areas of responsibility. Andrew is vice president of marketing and public relations; Blair heads leasing; Branscome guides international business development; and Monteferrante leads trade show operations.
Andrew's responsibilities include overseeing branding, marketing and advertising strategies for the Las Vegas Markets and Las Vegas Design Center. She handles public and media relations and supervises the Web site.
Blair oversees a 10-person leasing team and contributes to strategic design and planning for future building projects.
Branscome has worked to develop partnerships with European trade fairs, international trade associations and foreign governments. He has played an integral role in signing foreign exhibitors and continues to be based at the WMC's London office.
Monteferrante is responsible for planning, logistics and implementation of home furnishings market operations. She works with management on overseeing the launch and operations of new events and industry segments.
"These well-deserved promotions are reflective of the professional commitments these individuals have made as leaders," co-managing partners Jack Kashani and Shawn Samson said in a press release. "This key group of managers, and their respective teams, has played a critical role in the unprecedented growth and realization of World Market Center."
