Event for exhibitors, reps on tap Sept. 29

High Point — Two days before the fall market's official opening, the High Point Market Authority will host a reception for exhibitors and sales representatives on Saturday evening, Sept. 29.
"Our exhibitors put an enormous amount of effort into designing products, creating showrooms and doing business at the High Point Market," said Brian Casey, Market Authority president and CEO. "We created this new event because we want to have an opportunity to show our appreciation, and provide a brief respite between the hard work of getting ready for market and the week of selling that follows."
The reception will be held in the Showplace tent from 5 to 7 p.m. Musical entertainment will be provided by the Toccatatones, an all-male vocal ensemble from High Point University.
