Greensboro, N.C. — Tribuzio-Hilliard Studio, a provider of photography, graphic design, prepress and printing services with a number of furniture industry clients, has named David A. Christenson chief creative officer.
He has created and produced catalogs for JCPenney, Sears, Spiegel, Bloomingdale's and Dillard's. His catalog agency, Commercial Graphics, based in New York, won many creative awards.
"David brings us much marketing experience in the catalog and multi-channel direct selling industry," said Charles D. Hilliard, president of Tribuzio-Hilliard. "He understands our business and ... will be a tremendous help in diversifying our business and strengthening our branding efforts."

Bassett Furniture Inds.
Bassett, Va. — Kristina Herbig has been elected to the board of directors of Bassett Furniture Inds.
She is chief financial officer of Eddie V's Restaurants, a privately held restaurant company based in Scottsdale, Ariz. Herbig is expected to be appointed to the board's audit committee.
Decorize
Springfield, Mo. — Former Sealy CEO Ron Jones and former Storehouse President Caroline Hipple have been named to the board of directors of Decorize, a home accents and decorative accessories importer.
Jones, who was on the board from May 2004 to August 2005, headed bedding maker Sealy from 1996 until his retirement in 2004. Earlier, he was president of Masco Home Furnishings.
Hipple was president and chief operating officer of retailer Storehouse until it was closed last year by parent company Rowe Furniture. She earlier served as vice president of sales and merchandising for This End Up.

Kingsdown
Mebane, N.C. — Bedding producer Kingsdown has promoted Cindy McIntyre to assistant vice president of support services. She was director of customer service and consumer relations.
In her new post, McIntyre will oversee all consumer, customer and sales support, and manage the consumer care and post-purchase programs. In addition, she will spearhead the sales training program.
She continues to report to Joe Schmoeller, senior vice president of operations.
"Cindy has taken our customer service and consumer care programs to a new level," said Schmoeller, "and has vastly improved communications between our retail partners and sales associates."
Prior to joining Kingsdown nine years ago, McIntyre worked in the legal, multi-media and software industries, where she held managerial posts in systems management, business relations, training and customer service.
