Acrylicore lowers price on select acrylic items

Las Vegas — Acrylic furniture manufacturer Acrylicore took advantage of a sourcing arrangement to lower its pricing on two new domestically produced items launched at the Las Vegas Market.
The company is a high-end U.S. manufacturer of acrylic dining sets, occasional tables and beds.
The two new items were a five-piece dining set called Tequila and a new table called the Leaf cocktail.
The dining set has a suggested retail of about $2,000, while the cocktail table is priced at $699. Normally, these items would retail at $3,500 and $950 respectively, but President Shahrooz Nia said he is getting enough volume from a customer in the Middle East to allow him to offer similar pricing for other buyers.
To get that pricing, customers must buy a minimum of three pieces, which Nia said will help keep some inventory available for customers that want to buy the items off the floor.
He said dealer response during the first two days of the Las Vegas market was strong.
The company's next show appearance is at Expo Mueble in Guadalajara from Feb. 13-16. It will occupy a 1,500-square-foot booth there, Nia said.
