Miami — Phyllis Jeanne Shaffer, who worked with her husband, Martin "Buddy" Shaffer, for 45 years as owners of home furnishings sales company the Carlyle Group, has died. She was 67.
She was a longtime member of the Florida Home Furnishings Representatives Assn.
She is survived by her husband, her mother, two children, two grandchildren, two brothers, a sister and many nieces and nephews.
