Rosemead, Calif. — Will Sharp has been promoted to president of high-end upholstery and case goods producer Marge Carson.
Sharp, who had been senior vice president of sales and marketing, takes the president's title from Jim LaBarge, who resumes his role as CEO.
"Under Will's guidance, Marge Carson has grown significantly over the last six years. He has earned the presidency and we are excited that he is stepping into this leadership position," said LaBarge.
Sharp, who held several senior management positions at manufacturer Drexel Heritage before joining Marge Carson in 2002, will lead the company's sales, marketing and design teams.
"I am looking forward to continuing our longstanding tradition and passion for design leadership with a focus on the affluent consumer and our dealer network," said Sharp.
Kevin Sazi, vice president of operations, will continue to direct daily operations at Marge Carson's facilities in California, Mexico and the Philippines.
