Market Authority adds planning tool to Web site

High Point — Planning to attend the High Point Market? To plot an itinerary to make the best use of your time, the High Point Market Authority is offering an updated Market Planner tool on its Web site at www.highpointmarket.org.
The Market Planner allows buyers to research exhibitors and events before market, save events and showrooms to a personal Market Plan, and print out or e-mail copies of their itineraries to carry or share with colleagues.
The Web site also lists social, entertainment and educational events during market week, April 7–13.
Among the events planned are a series of 'green' luncheon seminars sponsored by the Sustainable Furniture Council in the Suites at Market Square, and a variety of speakers and events in The Interior Design Society's seminar space in its new national headquarters, housed in the Radio Building.
"Using the Market Planner, buyers can search exhibitors by product category, showroom building, or company name and the Market Planner will map out your route according to showroom building with each shuttle stop noted," said Brian Casey, president and CEO of the Market Authority. "It's an extremely user-friendly and time-saving tool that I would encourage everyone, even our veteran visitors, to explore."
Click on "Planning Your Visit" on the Web site to find links to the Market Planner, Market Events, showroom and shuttle maps, brochures and other resources.
