Scott Hoagland DeDi Sr., Jene's Collection

Wellington, Fla. — Scott Hoagland DeDi Sr., a sales representative with Dallas-based home décor and occasional furniture manufacturer Jene's Collection, has died after a brief battle with cancer. He was 72.
A 34-year rep to the lighting and home furnishings industry, DeDi was a past president of the Florida Home Furnishings Representatives Assn. and was known throughout the state after following in the footsteps of his father, Arthur L. DeDi. A decorated veteran, Scott DeDi retired from the Navy in 1974. His military career spanned the Korean and Vietnam wars.
He is survived by his wife, five children, 12 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and his stepmother.
