ITMA jackets auctioned for cancer charity

High Point — Jackets made of fabrics donated by International Textile Market Assn. members will be auctioned off to benefit a charity that promotes early breast cancer detection.
The collection will be displayed at the courtyard entrance of Market Square during Showtime, June 1–4.
ITMA is accepting proxy bids for the jackets by phone at (336) 885-6842 and online at www.itma-showtime.com. Bidding closes at 7 p.m. Sunday, June 1. Proceeds will benefit Greensboro, N.C.-based Friends for an Earlier Breast Cancer Test.
Jackets are shown in sample sizes and will be sized for the winning bidders.
Fabrics were donated by ITMA members Costa Blanca, Classical Elements, Glen Raven Custom Fabrics, Sunbury Textile Mills, Hamilton Fabric Sales, Valdese Weavers, Craftex Mills and Textile Fabric Associates.
A woven throw also will be auctioned, courtesy of Textillery Weavers.
