ST. LOUIS — Mike McBreen, hired from Nike last year to head Furniture Brands International's supply chain and logistics organization, has left the company to join shoe and boot maker Wolverine World Wide.
Dan Stone, vice president of strategy and business development for the manufacturer and importer, will be interim head of supply chain at FBI while a search is under way for a replacement, the company said.
Furniture Brands announced in March 2007 that it had named McBreen, who was a director in global apparel operations and strategic planning for Nike, to the post of vice president, supply chain and logistics. At Wolverine, he is president of the global operations group.
“We thank Mike for his contributions to the development and execution of our strategic plan,” said Ralph Scozzafava, Furniture Brands chairman and CEO. “Mike developed the blueprint for our FBN Asia organization and built a team to manage that operation. I'm confident that Dan's long experience in supporting supply chain initiatives at Procter & Gamble provides ample bench strength as we advance our global supply chain program.”
