HIGH POINT — Retailers attending the summer Las Vegas Market will have three opportunities to learn about National Home Furnishings Assn./HGTV Preferred Retailer Program and how they can become a part of the nationwide consumer campaign.
Seminars are scheduled for 11 a.m. each day Monday through Wednesday, July 28-30, in Space B-910 of the World Market Center.
The presentations will spotlight the HGTV/NHFA initiative to increase consumer confidence in purchasing furniture and spur sales for home furnishings stores. Attendees will receive a complete program package.
An overview of the program is available on the NHFA Web site at www.nhfa.org, by clicking on Preferred Retailer Program.
The program will provide consumers with information on furniture types, quality and value considerations, design styles and color tips. A multi-tiered marketing effort will include a co-branded HGTV/NHFA Web site where visitors with find interactive tools, articles, design ideas and localized listings of participating Preferred Retailers. The Web resource will be promoted through national print ads, on-air commercials and in-store materials created and produced by HGTV.
Detailed information about each participating retailer will be included on the site, including store hours, lines carried, a Web link, recognitions or awards and community affiliations. Participants also can highlight a sale or the introduction of new furniture lines, and utilize in-store materials to further leverage the program.
