DOWNERS GROVE, Ill. —Transportation and logistics provider Concert Group Logistics has opened a new office in Greensboro, N.C. and hired brothers Mike and Steve Medley to run the operation.
The two have been in the freight business in the Greensboro area for nearly 40 years, including the last 11 years with Lynden International.
“Our personalized approach has helped us maintain successful relationships with our customers and made the transition to the new station smooth,” said Mike Medley.
The Greensboro station owns and operates its own equipment and warehousing, and also has contracts with more than 500 other truck carriers who can provide service if a CGL unit isn't available.
The new station is the 25th in the CGL network.
“The Greensboro station is a strong team with an extensive background in the logistics industry,” said Gerry Post, president of CGL.
