Mealey's opens biggest store

Warminster, Pa. — Mealey's Furniture & Mattress, the family-run group of stores in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, has opened its newest and largest store here. Dan and Kevin Mealey, are the company's co-owners.
Mealey's is donating a portion of profits from every sale at all of its stores during July and August in support of the American Red Cross. Bob and Harriett Emerson, members of a local military family helped in a time of need by the American Red Cross, were on hand for the event.
The 84,000-square-foot store, located on W. Street Road in the CenterPoint Shopping Center, features furnishings all on one level, making it 25% larger than any other Mealey's store. It has taken nearly a year to design and construct.
The new location features a new mattress "store within a store" concept that offers a selection of mattresses in an all-white, spa-like setting with its own dedicated entrance and customer service center.
Mealy's also plans a "store within a store" area for youth furniture, as well as separate areas for leather furniture, home office furniture, recliners, casual and formal rooms, and dining furniture, plus a special "Marketplace" featuring eclectic one-of-a-kind imported accents.
The new store is part of Mealey's planned expansion within the Delaware Valley region and will add approximately 50 to 60 new jobs. It also will house Mealey's Furniture's corporate offices. Other Mealey's locations are in Oxford Valley, Pa., Bensalem Pa., and Moorestown, N.J.
