Gerald E. Pauley Jr., president Tri-State HFA

Media, Pa. — Gerald E. Pauley Jr., a retired sales representative and former president of the Tri-State Home Furnishings Assn., has died of pulmonary fibrosis. He was 74.
In his 40 years in the business, Pauley worked with several manufacturers including Simmons, Kroehler, Trend Line Furniture and Chromcraft Furniture. His sales territory was Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey.
He was a past president and chairman of the Tri-State HFA and he was inducted into the group's Hall of Fame in 2001. Pauley also received an award of excellence from the International Home Furnishings Representatives Assn.
Pauley is survived by his wife, son, two daughters, a stepson, a sister and a former wife.
