Morganton, N.C. — High-end upholstery and case goods resource Ferguson Copeland has promoted Gordon Guyon president and CEO, Donald Biggerstaff to executive vice president and David T. Edwards to senior vice president.
Guyon fills a role previously held by Dan Bradley, who left the company late last year to become president of Furniture Brand International's Designer Group of brands. Guyon, a partner in Ferguson Copeland, previously was vice president of sales and marketing.
Biggerstaff's and Edwards' positions are new ones for the company.
Biggerstaff previously was chief financial officer. In his new post, he will have responsibilities as both CFO and chief operating officer.
Edwards, who has been general manager at Ferguson Copeland, will oversee the company's Guy Chaddock division. He joined the company four years ago when it acquired Guy Chaddock and has been with that line for 18 years.
Company Chairman Darrell Ferguson remains involved in product design, sourcing and business development.
"Each individual of this team has significant career experience in the furniture industry and all have excelled in the management of our company over the last several years," Ferguson said in a statement. "These promotions recognize their individual contributions and establish our management team for the dramatic growth of our business that lies ahead."
