Santeramo In Colle, Italy — The Natuzzi Group has developed a new business structure for its global operations.
The new structure aims to strengthen Natuzzi's global identity, through closer cooperation of the company's Italian headquarters and six foreign branches, said Aldo Uva, who joined the leather upholstery giant as CEO in June.
"The new structure ... is based on the principles of efficiency and efficacy and its goal is to bring us increasingly closer to consumers throughout the world," said Uva.
"The relaunch of our business begins with making the most of the company assets, the focus on the Natuzzi and Italsofa brands and the strategic entry to certain key markets that will aid growth."
The new structure is aimed at "simplifying management, focusing on the client and rationalizing costs," he added.
"This new philosophy calls for great commitment, cultural change and dedication from the group's management and employees to meet the new challenges."
Following the launch of the new structure, the new top management will be engaged in updating the Natuzzi Group's 2009–11 business plan, which is slated for completion at the end of September.
